SponsorsSPONSORSHIP INTRODUCTION Velossimo Racing Team is proud of its many sponsors. We strive to develop close, friendly relationships built on trust and work to deliver visible results for both parties. We call this a win-win relationship and we strive to build long-term relationships with our sponsors. Our sponsors benefit from Velossimo’s strong organization and extensive experience in sports marketing, business, and sponsorships. It is possible for Velossimo to arrange both big and small sponsorships for companies. There are many different opportunities for cooperating with Velossimo, and we are always keen to discuss new possibilities and concepts. It is our ambition to develop strong partnerships that generate business results for both parties. We strive to work with companies that see perspectives and opportunities in long-lasting relationships and that want to be part of a visionary team. If you are interested in discussing potential sponsorship opportunities, we would be more than happy to speak with you. SPONSORSHIP CONCEPT Velossimo Racing Team participates in Professional and Elite Amateur cycling races in Texas and the Southwest. Our sponsors take advantage of the opportunities available to access customers in local, regional and national markets. Velossimo Racing Team strives to be great ambassadors in cycling and in our communities in which we live, train, and compete. We are active ambassadors to promote our sponsors and their businesses to help create grassroots relationships. We realize that our sponsors are our business partners and are key to us achieving success. Team Philosophy Velossimo Racing Team was founded in the fall of 2005 by a few racing friends that had spent the past season racing against each other and had developed respect and trust with each other. We thought it would be fun to create a new team of riders who were “up-and-coming” in the sport.. The new team was only five riders and most of the riders had only been racing a single season. We were recent upgrades to the Pro 1-2 ranks and lacked sponsors and experience but we made up for it in passion and hard work. The team also wanted to create a mission that gave back to the community. We decided to support the Susan G. Komen foundation and breast cancer awareness, education, and funding. We set the team up as a 501c3 non-profit organization so that any donations to the team would be a tax advantage for our sponsors and would benefit the Komen organization as well. We also wanted a cause-based team that would attract the right type of teammates to Velossimo. We wanted strong, exceptional athletes who were also good people interested in giving back. Our team possesses something that many others would like to have because we have started from scratch for the right reasons with the right people. This has helped to create our image as a team where things actually work and where the riders have the best opportunities for development. We are proud of this image, and acknowledge that there are responsibilities and work involved in maintaining it. Our foundation is in place, and it is the result of intense work contributed by everyone who is on or around the team. |
